Please complete this form to indicate how many bags of wood mulch you would like us to deliver and whether you would like us to spread the mulch. Weather permitting, deliveries will occur on Saturdays in April and the first Saturday in May.

We may deliver anytime between 8:30 in the morning and sunset. Please include any important delivery and spread instructions below, including a preferred Saturday request. You do not necessarily need to be present when we deliver your mulch. Your trailman may or may not be assigned to the team that delivers and spreads your mulch.

How much mulch do I need?

Mulch rarely spreads as far as we imagine it should. The existing texture of the flower bed and the presence or absence of old mulch greatly effects coverage. Spreading a 1.5ft³ bag to an average of 1-in thickness (which is pretty thin) may cover approximately 13 – 16ft². Spreading to an average 2-in thickness may cover approximately 6 – 8ft². Coverage will decrease on a bare dirt flower bed.

Weeds?

Spreading does not include weed removal. We recommend that you prepare your flower beds for mulch before you receive delivery. If not physically removed, we recommend applying an herbicide to existing weeds and/or a preemergent herbicide (such as Preen Weed Preventer) to prevent future weeds.
